Bukhara, Fergana, and Samarkand. These are all cities located in Central Asia, specifically in Uzbekistan. Each of these cities has its own unique history, culture, and significance.
Bukhara
Bukhara is one of the oldest cities in Uzbekistan and has been continuously inhabited for over 2,000 years. It was a prominent center of trade, scholarship, culture, and religion along the ancient Silk Road. Bukhara is famous for its well-preserved historic center, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It boasts numerous mosques, madrasas, mausoleums, and other architectural wonders dating back to the Islamic Golden Age.
Fergana
Fergana Valley is a region in eastern Uzbekistan, known for its fertile lands and agricultural production. The valley is shared by Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. Fergana City is the administrative center of the Fergana Region and is an important cultural and economic hub in the valley. The region is known for its cotton, silk, fruits, and other agricultural products.
Samarkand
Samarkand is one of the oldest and most famous cities in Central Asia. Like Bukhara, it was a key stop along the Silk Road and a center of trade, culture, and learning. Samarkand is perhaps best known for its stunning Registan Square, adorned with magnificent Islamic architecture including three grand madrasas. The city has a rich history that spans thousands of years, with influences from various civilizations including Persian, Greek, Mongol, and Islamic.

In the morning you will visit Khasti Imon Square with the beautiful Barak Khan Madrasa, the Tillya Sheikh Mosque and Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum made of simple brickwork. Here you can see the Koran, which was handwritten by the third Caliph Osman (644 – 656). You will also visit the Kukeldash Madrasah, the huge Chorsu Bazaar and the interesting Museum of Applied Arts on your program.
In the afternoon you will have an excursion in the modern part of the city and see the Independence Square, the Tashkent subway with its artistically designed subway stations.

The long drive to Bukhara (7-8 hours) goes through the Kyzylkum desert. You see the Amudarya, the great Central Asian river.

In the morning you will visit Ark Citadel – city within a city (4 B.C.E.), Bolo Hauz Mosque (early 20th century), Poi-Kalon ensemble (Pillage of the Great), religious heart of Saint Bukhara consists of Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque and Miri- Arab Madrasa. Ulugbek Madrasa (1417), Madrasah Nodir Devon Begi, Madrasah Abdul Aziz Khan, Mosque Magoki Attori (12-16 centuries), Lyabi-Hauz ensemble (14-17 centuries), Kosh Madrasah ensemble, located between Madari-Abdullachan -Madrasa (Mother of Abdullachan) and Abdullachan Madrasa stands, Mausoleum Samanidov (tomb of the representatives of the Samanidov dynasty of the end of the 9th – the beginning of the 10th century), Mausoleum Chashma Ayub (Source of Iovs), Chor Minor (Four Minarets)

In the morning you have excursion outside the city.
Sitorai Mohi-Hosa Palace – the summer palace of the last Emirs of Bukhara is located four kilometers north of Bukhara.
Baha ad-Din Nakshbandi Ensemble – the Baha ad-Din Ensemble (city plan) had a design typical of the 16th century and represented a combination of a necopolis with a ritual building. In 1544 AD, Abd al-Asis Khan I had .Rebuild Nakschbandi’s grave in the form of a ground crypt (Dahma with a fence carved out of marble). The largest Hanaka, measuring 42.5 m by 38 m, can also be found nearby.

In the morning you drive to Samarkand, on the way you visit a ceramics workshop in Gijduvan and visit the ruins of the old caravanserai “Rabat i Malik”

At Morgan you will visit Bazar Siab – the largest bazaar in Samarkand. You have free time for shopping for souvenirs and oriental sweets.
Registan Square is the outstanding model of Central Asia from 17th century and consists of three madrassas — Ulugbek (1417-1420), the Cher-Dor (1619-1636) and Tillja-Kari (1647-1660).
Then you will see the legendary Timurid mausoleum – Guri Amir (XIV-XV centuries), where Amir Temur, his sons and grandchildren are buried.
The Ulugbek Observatory (XV century) — the scientific works of Ulugbek were founded thanks to the unique observatory.
The Bibi Khanum Mosque — Grand buildings flanked a rectangular courtyard measuring 130 x 102 meters paved with marble tiles. The main mosque was on the west side, and there were smaller mosques on the north and south sides.
Ensemble Shohi-Sinda (XI-XV centuries) – on the southeast hill of Afrosiab lies the remarkable necropolis Shohizinda. It consists of 11 mausoleums that were built in stages between the 14th and 15th centuries. The entrance portal is the youngest building with the inscription: “This magnificent building was built by Abdulazizkhan, Ulubek-Gurgan’s son, Shahruh’s son, Amir Timur-Guragan’s son in the year 883 (1434 AD)”

On the way there is the excursion in Kokand – visit to the Chudoyar Chan Palace, Djami Mosque, Kamol Kazi

Drive to Rishtan, on the way visit Ok Yer village.
Then visit the private potteries (master Rustam Usmanov)
