The 6 Day Horizon: Horse Riding in Son Kul Highlands
Horse riding in Son Kul offers a rare chance to explore Kyrgyzstan on horseback, following ancient nomad routes across remote highlands. Each day of the tour brings new horizons, from rolling grasslands to panoramic views of Son Kul Lake, one of the most iconic destinations in Central Asia.
During this six-day horse riding adventure, you will ride well-trained horses, stay in traditional yurts and experience nomadic life in the Son Kul region. The 6 Day Horizon combines adventure, nature and cultural immersion, making it an ideal horseback tour in Kyrgyzstan for riders who want to travel slowly and connect with the land.

Additional information
High-difficulty tour for experienced riders only. Covering 4–5 hours of riding daily, it traverses alpine valleys, high passes, and the plateaus around Son Kul Lake. This tour is not suitable for beginners, offering an immersive horseback adventure through Kyrgyzstan’s remote highlands and nomadic culture.

Here is the short story of our new route:
- Day 1 Bishkek – Kyzart – Oktorkoi valley. We shall collect you from your hotel at 8:30 am. Transfer from Bishkek to the tour departure point. The tour commences at approximately 1:00 pm on the same day.
- Day 2 Oktorkoi valley – Kyzart pass
- Day 3 Kyzart pass – Kilemche valley
- Day 4 Kilemche valley – Song Kul lake
- Day 5 Son Kul riding by the shore
- Day 6 Song Kul lake – Kyzart. – Bishkek. Return by horse and meet the driver. Travel by car to Bishkek and proceed to the hotel. (Today’s hotel accommodation is not included.)

•first day stay in camp and others in sharing yurt ( up to 4-5 people in 1 yurt )
