The 4-day Turkmenistan Tour offers an unforgettable adventure, featuring a visit to the mesmerizing Darvaza Gas Crater, known as the “Door to Hell,” where flames blaze in the desert. Along the way, you’ll explore the ancient city of Merv, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and discover the rich history and culture of Turkmenistan through its unique landmarks. The tour also includes visits to Ashgabat’s modern architecture and other notable sites, providing a perfect blend of natural wonders, historical exploration, and cultural experiences.

Tour itinerary
Ashgabat arrival
(Regular car 10 km) Arrival early morning at Ashgabat airport (ETD xxxxh, ETA 23;55h), after migration formalities, meet with driver. Transfer to the hotel overnight.
Ashgabat
( Regular 80 km ) After the rest and breakfast, start the city tour by visiting Independence Park, Ancient Nissa (UNESCO), National Museum, Neutrality Arch, Wedding Palace viewpoint for pics, Earthquake Memorial Complex, Stairs of Health, Ertogrul Gazi Mosque, etc.

Ashgabat-Darwaza
After the rest and breakfast, start the city tour with a visit to the Horse stable (opportunity to ride), Gulistan Bazaar, etc. (depending on time).
After lunchtime, drive to Darwaza gas crater. Visit Water and Mud crater on the way. Upon arrival set up the camp. Enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner near the burning crater. Overnight in tents.

Darwaza – BP Shavat
4×4 – 280 km
After camp-style breakfast, drive to BP Shavat via Dashoguz. After migration formalities, cross the border.
