Tour itinerary
30 December: Samarkand – Arrival
Upon arrival in Samarkand, our driver will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Early check-in is provided.
In the afternoon, gather in the hotel lobby to meet your guide and fellow travelers before starting a sightseeing tour of Samarkand. Explore the breathtaking Registan Square, the remains of the Bibi-Khanum Mosque, Siab Bazaar, and the Gur-Emir Mausoleum, the final resting place of the Turco-Mongol conqueror, Timur.
Overnight at the hotel.
Sightseeing duration: Approximately 4-5 hours.
December 31: Samarkand
Start the day with breakfast before continuing your sightseeing tour. Visit the Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, Ulugbek Observatory, Afrasiab Museum, and the Tomb of Saint Daniel. Then, head to Konigil village to see the traditional process of making Samarkand paper from mulberry. Enjoy free time in the afternoon.
In the evening, celebrate with a festive New Year gala dinner.

January 1: Samarkand – Bukhara
Enjoy free time in the morning. At 14:00, set off from Samarkand for a journey to Bukhara (280 km, approximately 4 hours*). Along the way, make a stop at the historic Rabat-i-Malik Caravanserai. Continue the drive to Bukhara and check in to the hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay in Bukhara.
*Travel time may be about an hour longer when using vans or buses.
02 January: Bukhara
After breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby at 10:00 AM to begin the sightseeing tour in Bukhara. The tour will take you to explore the Lyabi-Hauz Complex, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Chor-Minor Madrasah, and the bustling Trade Domes. You will also visit the Kalyan Minaret and Mosque, Miri-Arab Madrasah, Ulugbek Madrasah, Abdulazizkhan Madrasah, Ark Fortress, Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Samanids Mausoleum, and Chashma Ayub Mausoleum. Afterward, enjoy free time to relax or explore on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bukhara.

03 January: Bukhara – Tashkent
Begin your day by visiting Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa, the former summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir, a stunning example of a blend of Russian and Oriental architectural styles. Then, proceed to the mausoleum of Baha-ud-Din Naqshband, the founder of the Sufi Muslim order, and the Chor-Bakr Necropolis. At 14:40, transfer to the train station to board the Afrosiyob fast train departing at 15:50 and arriving in Tashkent at 19:48 (540 km). Upon arrival in Tashkent, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Tashkent
After breakfast, meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby to begin your exploration of Tashkent, the largest city in Central Asia and the capital of Uzbekistan. Start with a visit to the Old City area and the Khast-Imam Complex, home to the world-famous Quran of Caliph Uthman, which has been preserved here. Explore the complex, including the Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tillya Sheikh Mosque, the Mausoleum of Saint Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi, and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari. Next, visit the bustling Chorsu Bazaar. Then, enjoy a ride on the Tashkent Metro to reach the city center, where you will visit the Applied Arts Museum and stroll through the Navoi Theater to Amir Timur Square, concluding your Tashkent city tour. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

05 January: Tashkent – Departure
Check out from the hotel by 12:00. Enjoy some free time until your transfer to Tashkent International Airport. Departure. This marks the end of the 7-day New Year Group Tour.
