A landmark event for the region’s tourism community took place in Ashgabat — the first meeting of Central Asian travelers, held under the auspices of the international NomadMania platform. The event was organized by Akbyabek Taganova, the Turkmen ambassador of NomadMania and an experienced traveler who has visited 113 countries.
The event brought together representatives of travel agencies from all over Turkmenistan, as well as independent travelers passionate about the idea of discovery and cultural exchange. This was an excellent opportunity to establish new contacts, exchange experiences and learn about the latest trends in the world of travel.
Akbyabek Taganova spoke about her travels and shared valuable advice based on personal observations. Participants learned about the opportunities offered by NomadMania — a global community of more than 40,000 travelers united by the desire to explore the world thoughtfully and consciously.
The meeting paid special attention to the principles of responsible tourism: how to reduce the carbon footprint, why it is important to develop eco-tourism, and how to travel with respect for nature and local traditions. This emphasizes the importance of not only the number of countries visited, but also the quality of interaction with the outside world.
You can join the NomadMania platform online – registration is available through the official website or mobile application. Participation gives access to a unique system for tracking countries, routes and achievements, as well as regular meetings and initiatives around the world.
